This Policy applies as between you, the User of this Web Site and Wisconsin Workforce Transformation, the owner and provider of this Web Site. This Policy applies to our use of any and all Data collected by us in relation to your use of the Web Site and any Services or Systems therein.

“Cookie”: means a small text file placed on your computer by Wisconsin Workforce Transformation when you visit certain parts of this Web Site. This allows us to identify recurring visitors and to analyze their browsing habits within the Web Site.

“Mobile App”: means the MyWWT mobile application provided by Wisconsin Workforce Transformation, through which Users may access learning content and related Services on a mobile device;

“Service”: means collectively any online facilities, tools, services or information that Wisconsin Workforce Transformation makes available through the Web Site or Mobile App either now or in the future;

“System”: means any online communications infrastructure that Wisconsin Workforce Transformation makes available through the Web Site or Mobile App either now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to, web-based email, message boards, live chat facilities and email links;

“User” / “Users”: means any third party that accesses the Web Site or Mobile App and is not employed by Wisconsin Workforce Transformation and acting in the course of their employment; and

“Website”: means the website that you are currently using (www.mywwt.org) and any sub-domains of this site unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions.

Without limitation, any of the following Data may be collected when you register for an Account, use our Services, or otherwise interact with the Web Site or Mobile App:

• Account credentials;
• course progress and completion records;
• quiz responses, including optional video and audio submissions;
• interactions with lessons and other Content;
• device type and operating system (automatically collected);
• web browser type and version (automatically collected);
• IP address (automatically collected);
• a list of URLs starting with a referring site, your activity on this Web Site or Mobile App, and the site you exit to (automatically collected);
• App and Web Site usage and analytics data (automatically collected); and
• Cookie information (see Clause 12 below).

If you make a purchase, payments are securely processed by Stripe. Wisconsin Workforce Transformation does not store full payment details such as credit card numbers.
Information We Do NOT Collect. Wisconsin Workforce Transformation does not collect or store Social Security numbers, immigration documents or status, or government-issued identification numbers.

3. Our Use of Data

3.1 Any personal Data you submit will be retained by Wisconsin Workforce Transformation for as long as you use the Services and Systems provided on the Web Site or Mobile App, or as needed to provide the Services to you. Data that you may submit through any communications System that we may provide may be retained for a longer period of up to one year. You may request deletion of your personal Data at any time as described in Clause 9.

3.2 Unless we are obliged or permitted by law to do so, and subject to Clause 4, your Data will not be disclosed to third parties. This includes our affiliates and / or other companies within our group.

3.3 All personal Data is stored securely in accordance with applicable data protection laws and recognized data protection principles. For more details on security, see Clause 10 below.

3.4 Any or all of the above Data may be required by us from time to time in order to provide you with the best possible service and experience when using our Web Site and Mobile App. Specifically, Data may be used by us for the following reasons:

  • 3.4.2 delivering learning content and tracking course progress and completion;
  • 3.4.3 providing feedback, notifications, and reminders;
  • 3.4.4 internal record keeping;
  • 3.4.5 improvement of our products and Services;
  • 3.4.6 processing payments where applicable;
  • 3.4.7 transmission by email of promotional materials and other communications that may be of interest to you; and
  • 3.4.8 contact for market research purposes which may be done using email, telephone, fax or mail. Such information may be used to customize or update the Web Site and Mobile App.

4. Third Party Web Sites and Services

Wisconsin Workforce Transformation may, from time to time, employ the services of other parties for dealing with matters that may include, but are not limited to, payment handling, delivery of purchased items, search engine facilities, advertising, marketing, and the hosting and delivery of learning content. The providers of such services do not have access to certain personal Data provided by Users of this Web Site or Mobile App. Any Data used by such parties is used only to the extent required by them to perform the services that Wisconsin Workforce Transformation requests. Any use for other purposes is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, any Data that is processed by third parties must be processed within the terms of this Policy and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

In particular, Wisconsin Workforce Transformation relies on the following trusted third-party providers. LearnWorlds hosts and delivers our learning content and processes Account data (such as name and email), learning activity and progress, and technical and usage data, acting as a data processor on our behalf. Stripe securely processes payments and receives the billing information necessary to complete a transaction. These providers are required to protect your Data and to use it only for the purpose of delivering Services on our behalf.

5. Mobile App Permission

In order to provide its features, the MyWWT App may request certain permissions on your device. The Camera permission is used to record video responses for quizzes and to participate in live learning activities. The Microphone permission is used to record audio responses and to participate in live sessions. The Notifications permission is used to send course updates and to provide reminders and feedback.

The MyWWT App does not use Location data, and it does not access device storage or files outside of what is necessary for the operation of the App.

6. Changes of Business Ownership and Control

6.1  Wisconsin Workforce Transformation may, from time to time, expand or reduce its business and this may involve the sale of certain divisions or the transfer of control of certain divisions to other parties. Data provided by Users will, where it is relevant to any division so transferred, be transferred along with that division and the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this Policy, be permitted to use the Data for the purposes for which it was supplied by you.

6.2  In the event that any Data submitted by Users will be transferred in such a manner, you will be contacted in advance and informed of the changes. When contacted you will be given the choice to have your Data deleted or withheld from the new owner or controller.

7. Controlling Access to your Data

7.1  You can restrict, manage, or object to the processing of their personal data, including for marketing purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.


8. Your Right to Withhold Information

8.1  You may access certain areas of the Web Site without providing any Data at all. However, to use all Services and Systems available on the Web Site or Mobile App you may be required to submit Account information or other Data.

9. Accessing, Amending and Deleting your Data

9.1  You may access your Account at any time to view or amend your Data. You may need to modify or update your Data if your circumstances change. Additional Data as to your marketing preferences may also be stored and you may change this at any time.

9.2  You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal Data we hold about you.

9.3  You have the right to request deletion of your personal Data at any time. To make a request to access, amend, or delete your Data, please contact us using the details in Clause 13. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

10. Security

Data security is of great importance to Wisconsin Workforce Transformation and to protect your Data we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure Data collected through the Web Site and Mobile App. These measures include the use of secure HTTPS encryption for data in transit, restricted access to authorized personnel, and the use of secure third-party infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our Services are intended for adult users. Wisconsin Workforce Transformation does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that personal Data from a child under 13 has been collected, it will be deleted promptly.

12. Cookies and Website Features

When using our Web Site, Cookies and similar technologies may be used to improve functionality and user experience, and basic analytics may be collected through our platform provider. You can control Cookies through your browser settings; restricting Cookies may, however, affect the functionality of certain parts of the Web Site.
